Summary: The 2026 policy establishes requirements, criteria, and guidelines for telework arrangements that support the University’s mission and operational needs across schools, colleges, and administrative and operational divisions. It delineates a position-based framework around three categories: On-Campus, Hybrid Flexible, and Institutionally-Approved Fully Remote. This policy applies to all regular, full-time and part-time non-union, non-faculty, and non-student employees of Howard University.
