Summary:  It is the policy of Howard University to ensure that information contained within the education records of all students is protected to the fullest extent of the law. In accordance with federal law, the University has a legal obligation to implement a policy addressing the privacy rights of students and to ensure compliance by all members of the University community. The Student Privacy Rights Policy complies with this requirement.
